Save the Date! One week from today. The La Crescent-Hokah Middle School will be participating in a Community Action Night at Pizza Ranch in La Crosse, WI, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 4-9 p.m. La Crescent-Hokah Middle School staff will be working that evening helping out the Pizza Ranch staff and in return we will get a portion of the evening sales and 100% of the tips that night. The money raised will be used for various activities including Lancer Way prizes for students, paying for the Lancer Way events the students get to do, bringing in special guest speakers, and field trips. We hope to see you at the Pizza Ranch that night supporting La Crescent-Hokah Middle School. Tuesday nights are kids' eat-free nights (children 10 and under get a free buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet).

4 of our 6th grade students attended a special award dinner for having their poster selected for the Peace Poster contest put on by the La Crescent Lions Club! Multiple schools in La Crescent were represented. The theme was "Dare to Dream," and they couldn't use any letters or numbers in their artwork. La Crescent - Hokah Community Education presents the second annual Monster Mash - Family Halloween Celebration! Grab your little goblins, ghouls, and jack-o-lanterns β€” it’s time for some Halloween costume fun! Enjoy festive activities, music, dancing and frightfully delicious snacks. Dress to impress and you could be a winner in our main event, our costume parade! Several winners will be selected. All ages are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult. HVAC Equipment Package: Electrical Package – Middle School / High School La Crescent, Minnesota Notice is hereby given that Apex Facility Solutions on behalf of La Crescent-Hokah Public Schools will be receiving bids until 10:00 a.m. FRIDAY October 20, 2023. Project entails the ELECTRICAL PORTION ONLY for HVAC replacement to the ventilation system at the high school and middle school. This includes new rooftop units with a new chilled water plant and distribution system. Project include installations of owner provided multiple air handling equipment, two new air source heat pump chillers. Contractor to receive and install new equipment, provide and install new pumps, accessories, piping, controls, and air distribution as needed. A PRE-BID MEETING WILL BE AT REQUEST ONLY. Proposal Forms, Plans, and Specifications for use by contractors in submitting a bid may be obtained from Apex Facility Solutions, LLC via Procore Management Software. To obtain access contact Robert Krukoski, PE at robk@apex-co.us. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier’s check payable to the La Crescent-Hokah Public Schools in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described in the proposal. The Owner will retain the deposits for the three lowest bidders until the contract has been awarded and executed, but for no longer than sixty (60) days.
