Look at the amazing work the students in Mr. Kaatz's Commercial Construction course did! Antonio Brown, Emma Mades, Theodore Rosendalh, Alex Von Arx, and Ron White made this beautiful privacy shelf for the Middle School office. Thank you students, we have already received several compliments.

Mrs. Johnson's 6th grade class took some time this morning cleaning up the playground of trash and debris. Thanks students for helping keep our playground safe and clean.

The Middle School Student Council is organizing a Halloween Spirit Week for the week of October 24-28: Monday - October 24: PJ/Comfy Clothes Tuesday - October 25: Dress like a Teacher Day Wednesday -October 26: Fall Color Wars 5th - Purple 6th - Orange 7th - Gray 8th - Black Staff - Green Thursday - October 27: Fake Injury Day - Needs to be school appropriate Friday - October 28: Halloween Costumes - Need to be school appropriate - no weapons, faces can not be completely covered. Show your school spirit - Dress up! Middle School Dance and Activity Night - 6:30 - 9:00 pm, Friday October 28, in the commons area. There will be a Costume Contest, activities and concessions for sale. Admission is $3 or $2 with a donation to the Food Shelf. This is for Middle School students only. Community Education invites you to participate in our first annual Monster Mash Halloween Celebration! Hosted at the La Crescent-Hokah Elementary School. Join us for a night filled with tricks and treats, games and prizes that the whole family will enjoy. Wear your favorite costume to parade in for a chance to win our costume contest. Elementary School Book Fair Volunteers Needed!! Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B044BAAAC2FABF58-book2 The book fair will be held Monday October 17th - Wednesday October 19th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the media center. We need volunteers to help run the cash registers and assist families in shopping for books. We will also have the fair open for students to browse during their library hour. Minimal shopping will occur during the school day and students will be encouraged to return with their parent or guardian during the evening fair.
