Welcome, Shianne Reschke!
Shianne Reschke is joining the La Crescent-Hokah Schools as the Kids Company Coordinator! Of all the jobs she has held, each job has involved working with Kindergarten-12th Grade in multiple different settings, such as Youth Outdoor Ministry, Youth Director, Toddler Teacher at the YMCA. Shianne and her fiance moved from Onalaska to La Crescent back in April 2023. They have 2 dogs, Archie and Daisy, and 1 cat named Obi. Shianne is outdoorsy and willing to learn and try new outdoor hobbies. A few that she has picked up over the years are hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, and of course, playing with her dogs. In the winter months, you are more likely to find Shianne inside with a good book or working on making friendship bracelets.
Shianne is very excited to be joining this community and meeting new people while creating strong relationships that strengthen the community even more. She began working with children and slowly began working with young adults and one thing that she applied in her work consistently with all ages was helping them be themselves and to celebrate the uniqueness that each one of them holds.
