Learning Model Plan Change - February 19, 2021

The Governors dialing back of expectations on February 17 provides school districts an opportunity to bring students back. County numbers have never been the only reason we have changed our learning model; it is essential to note that Houston County numbers are the highest of all the surrounding Minnesota Counties. As of today, Houston County numbers are the third-highest of all Minnesota Counties. Please be vigilant about COVID-19 mitigation so that we will be able to have our students back to school and keep them here.

Distance Learning will remain an option for students by parent request.

Choosing to have your student do distance learning on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis is not allowed.

Parents may have their children tested for COVID-19 every two weeks by arranging to do so on their own. Families can find a location for free COVID-19 testing on the Minnesota Department of Health website.

It will be important that everyone uses good hygiene practices as we come back to school. Information and updates can be found on the school website. Please know this is a fluid situation, and the ability to keep facilities open has been more dependent on happenings outside of our school walls than what is happening within our schools. Please do your part to allow us to be open.
