Digital Footprints - do you know where your child's is leading?

This class is designed to help parents understand the concept of Digital Footprints. Everyone who visits the web for any reason is creating a Digital Footprint. We control what goes into the makeup of these footprints by where we visit, what we create, what we purchase, what we post (text or photos), and where we work or play. The footprint your child leaves behind can influence whether or not he/she will be accepted into college or get the job he/she wants. All of us need to be aware of the dangers of inappropriate postings or content created to protect our footprint. As parents, we have a responsibility to be aware of the development of this footprint and help guide our children to have a footprint following them they are proud to have. This class will help you develop an understanding of what they are and how they are developed.
