2nd Grade ADSIS Reading

1. When reading one-syllable words, I can distinguish long and short vowels.    

2.  I know the letters-sounds (fluency) for vowel patterns.

3.  I can read and pronounce two-syllable words with long vowels.  

4.  I can read and pronounce words with prefixes and suffixes.

5.  I know words with inconsistent but common letter-sound relationships.

6.  I can recognize and read spelling words which do not follow the rules.  

7.  I can read read grade-level text with understanding.

8.  I can read aloud grade-level text with fluency (accuracy, good rate, and expression).  

9.  I can use the text to understand or self-correct my understanding and word recognition.
