I grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin and am so proud to be from this area. (Yes, I do cheer for the Green and Gold, go Pack go! After graduating high school, I attended Winona State University to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education-Learning Disabilities. My hope is to obtain my Masters Degree in the near future. Previously, I had worked as a long term substitute in St. Charles and in Goodview, MN. This is my first permanent teaching position and I could not be more thrilled to be a Lancer!

Along with teaching, my other passion is coaching. I grew up playing sports and watching all my cousins play. I learned early on how important it is to be part of a team. I am very excited to be on the volleyball coaching staff at La Crescent and look forward to the 2017 season.

In my spare time I enjoy running, hiking the Hixon Forest Trails, cooking, reading, and spending time with my family. Within the last year I adopted two kitties, Denver and ZuZu. I love animals and hope to eventually adopt a dog (or two) as well! My family consists of my dad, my mom, and my younger brother Nolan. I also have a huge extended family (over 60 cousins)!

Let's have a great year!
